New Leaf did not begin as a mowing company nor does it offer any mowing services, which many of the companies in southeastern Michigan have done. We are not an add-on service. This is what we are trained in and this is what we know.
New Leaf creates custom designs for its clients based on a specific set of guidelines we use for design.
New Leaf has the experience, knowledge, and ability to install a landscape that is built to last well beyond any guarantee on the market, including our own.
New Leaf designs utilize hundreds of varieties of plant material that most other landscape companies do not know how to use. Our knowledge of plant material is extensive and not limited to the same plants you see in most every yard.
When a planting design is drawn and installed, your elements are designed with a purpose and a plan to ensure the plants will not become overcrowded or require extensive trimming & work to maintain them. They are also designed to provide seasonal interest throughout the year and to be hardy for our growing zone.
We use only the finest materials & products to install our landscapes. Our pavers by Unilock are used because they are designed for a specific style and have a great variety to allow a truly custom & unique look to your home.
Our plant material is all Michigan grown & produced stock sold locally and selected from several nurseries in the area to ensure the finest quality plant material for your home
Our brick pavers and retaining walls are installed with specific methods that go above the recommended specifications of our primary supplier Unilock of Michigan and those of the International Concrete Paver Institute.
Our installation procedures for all materials we use have been enhanced by us to ensure our installations last. Many of our methods are only practiced by our company because the longevity and durability of your landscape are as important to us as they are to you.
Our owner and chief designer is on site every day to supervise your project. Supervising the project does not only mean making sure it is done properly. It also means offering design enhancements & changes to fit your needs.
We offer a complimentary two hour window of time to meet with you, consult on your project, and offer design services to allow you to see our vision for your home. Larger scale design processes are often charged at a rate of $100.00 per hour and payable after you are completely satisfied. Most designs are completed within three to four hours.
